DESCRIPTION:Climathon is a global hackathon promoted by Climate KIC that activates communities to solve climate challenges at the local level. In Chihuahua\, we are focusing the 2025 edition on AI with environmental impact: energy efficiency in industry and cities. \n\n\n\nWhy Chihuahua?Our state experiences severe droughts and water stress that affect agriculture\, livestock and ecosystems; at the same time\, we have a strong industrial base and a growing entrepreneurial ecosystem. We want solutions that measure better\, decide better and save resources using AI. \n\n\n\nMain challenge: ‘AI for energy management in Chihuahua’Develop an Artificial Intelligence solution that\, using local or open data\, allows for the detection\, prediction\, or optimisation of energy consumption and emissions in industry and the city. Suggested lines of action: \n\n\n\n\nEnergy efficiency and emissions (industry/city):\n\n\n\nOptimisation of consumption in processes\n\n\n\nSmart HVAC\n\n\n\nLoad scheduling\n\n\n\nLow-carbon routes/logistics.\n\n\n\nThe goal is to reduce costs and emissions and improve energy sustainability in Chihuahua through the use of AI applied to the local reality.\n\n\n\n\nDeliverable: functional demo or prototype (app\, dashboard\, model\, microservice) + 4-minute pitch with impact\, feasibility and implementation plan. \n\n\n\nLear more and register here
