What is Framework Package 10 (FP10)?
Every seven years, the European Union redesigns how it funds research and innovation across the continent through what’s called a “Framework Programme.” The current one, Horizon Europe, runs out in 2027. Its successor — known as FP10 — is being negotiated in Brussels right now, and it will determine how climate and sustainability organisations access EU funding from 2028 onward.
Why now?
Nothing is finalised yet. Budgets, priorities, and structures are still being debated between the European Commission, Parliament, and Member States. That makes this exactly the moment when understanding the direction of travel matters most — before the big decisions are locked in.

Join senior members of the Climate-KIC policy team, live from Brussels, for a plain-language briefing on where things currently stand: what’s being proposed, what’s contested, and what it could mean for climate innovators, SMEs, researchers, and mission-driven organisations across Europe — whether you’re a Horizon Europe veteran or have never applied for EU funding before.
