DESCRIPTION:The Decarbon Days 2026 is the cleantech event in Europe’s first Net Zero Valley! \n\n\n\nLusatia is Europe’s first Net Zero Valley – a region offering advantages for clean industry! Here\, Germany’s three other valleys\, along with representatives from Spain\, Poland and the Netherlands\, are coming together with key decision-makers at EU\, federal and state level to explore new frameworks for establishing green economic clusters. \n\n\n\nIt will feature a conference day (24th June)\, focused on cross-border practices exchange\, industry input\, implementation frameworks for regions and innovation spotlights\, and a talent day (25th June)\, focused on career opportunities\, pitches\, green skills development\, and more. \n\n\n\nClimate KIC will be present with: \n\n\n\n\nA keynote titled ‘Net Zero Valleys – the EU’s new hotspots for clean industry‘ by Kirsten Dunlop\, CEO of Climate KIC\n\n\n\nA panel on ‘Developing clean industry clusters in Net Zero Valleys‘\n\n\n\nA local edition of our flagship programme Climathon\, an innovation hackathon focused on systemic environmental challenges\n\n\n\nA stand during the 1st day of the conference\, where you can meet our team and discover our opportunities
