In this session, we will look at Framework Programme 10<\/strong> (FP10)<\/strong>, the continuation of the research funding scheme Horizon Europe, set to run from 2028-2034.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FP10 will shape the funding landscape climate organisations operate in for the next funding cycle. Understanding it now \u2014 while it’s still being shaped \u2014 means you can position your organisation ahead of the field, not after the rules are set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

What is Framework Package 10 (FP10)?<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Every seven years, the European Union redesigns how it funds research and innovation across the continent through\u00a0what’s\u00a0called a \u201cFramework\u00a0Programme.\u201d The current one, Horizon Europe, runs out in 2027. Its successor \u2014 known as FP10 \u2014 is being negotiated in Brussels right now, and it will\u00a0determine\u00a0how climate and sustainability\u00a0organisations\u00a0access EU funding from 2028 onward.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why now?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Nothing is finalised yet. Budgets, priorities, and structures are still being debated between the European Commission, Parliament, and Member States. That makes this exactly the moment when understanding the direction of travel matters most \u2014 before the big decisions are locked in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join senior members of the Climate-KIC policy team, live from Brussels, for a plain-language briefing on where things currently stand: what’s being proposed, what’s contested, and what it could mean for climate innovators, SMEs, researchers, and mission-driven organisations across Europe \u2014 whether you’re a Horizon Europe veteran or have never applied for EU funding before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
