Connect: From COP30 to actions. Community perspective and opportunities for 2026
December 11 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm CET
Join us as we reflect on one of the most challenging years, share key takeaways from COP30, and explore how our community can drive climate innovation and collaboration in 2026.
2025 has been a year of extremes. We’ve seen climate events redefine what “crisis” means, youth-led protests on social conditions, a mix of setbacks and promising progress in climate targets and ambitions. Against this backdrop, national delegations are reconvening at COP30 in Belém, Brazil in an extremely fragmented and uncertain political landscape.
Whatever the results of COP30 will be, one thing is clear: we cannot afford to slow down on climate commitments. Instead, this is a chance for businesses, academia, public stakeholder, and others to step up and collaborate, closing the gaps left by political inaction.
So, what opportunities does COP30 open for organisations? How can we turn the learnings of 2025 into real, systemic climate action in 2026? What innovations should we watch for the year ahead?
Join us for a final Community Connect of the year where we dive into main learnings from 2025 and the role of business organisations, public stakeholders, academia and other civil society actors in bringing the climate innovation agenda forward in 2026.
We’ll be joined by notable special guests, offering both business and policy perspectives.
