The Decarbon Days 2026 is the cleantech event in Europe’s first Net Zero Valley!
Lusatia is Europe’s first Net Zero Valley – a region offering advantages for clean industry! Here, Germany’s three other valleys, along with representatives from Spain, Poland and the Netherlands, are coming together with key decision-makers at EU, federal and state level to explore new frameworks for establishing green economic clusters.
It will feature a conference day (24th June), focused on cross-border practices exchange, industry input, implementation frameworks for regions and innovation spotlights, and a talent day (25th June), focused on career opportunities, pitches, green skills development, and more.
Climate KIC will be present with:
- A keynote titled ‘Net Zero Valleys – the EU’s new hotspots for clean industry‘ by Kirsten Dunlop, CEO of Climate KIC
- A panel on ‘Developing clean industry clusters in Net Zero Valleys‘
- A local edition of our flagship programme Climathon, an innovation hackathon focused on systemic environmental challenges
- A stand during the 1st day of the conference, where you can meet our team and discover our opportunities
