Practical EPO Tools for Clean Energy and Energy Storage Research

Patent data is more than a tool for protecting ideas; it can also help researchers, start-ups and innovation actors understand technology trends, identify collaboration opportunities and explore emerging innovation landscapes.
In this practical webinar, organised for Climate KIC and Inno’s communities, the European Patent Office will introduce free EPO tools that can support research and innovation in clean energy and energy storage. Participants will learn how to use patent information to explore technology trends, identify relevant start-ups, universities, public research organisations and investors, and better understand activity in fields such as smart solar, electrolysers, battery circularity, solid-state batteries and smart grids.
